Bill Hewitt BSc MAIG

Bill Hewitt has over 30 years experience in mineral exploration and development in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Some of the more prominent positions held by him include:

General Manager Asia with MIM Exploration (1996-98),

President Director with Ashton Mining Group in Indonesia (1989-93),

Project Manager Coronation Hill in the Northern Territory, which had been mined for uranium during the 1950’s, with BHP during the feasibility study (1987-88), and

Executive Officer assisting the Managing Director on all aspects of the US$1billion construction of Ok Tedi stage one (1980-84).

He has exploration experience for a wide range of commodities including gold, base metals, diamonds and uranium.

Mr Hewitt is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
