Another advantage for KKR in a takeover is that they also purchase the knowhow to turn around their poorly performing plantation asset. There has to be synergies in Kununurra with centralising management, nurseries and timber processessing but a larger factor is the intellectual property associated with running the plantations to a higher standard.
