Perhaps you don't get payed a wage, I don't know. I can tell you in my experience if it wasn't for the Unions in Australia the working conditions would still be like those in the 1950's and deaths and injuries would skyrocket, not to mention compensation would be nill.
People would be payed slave labour wages in Australia if it wasn't for the unions pushing for awards and minimum wages.
You might not like Unions but they are absolutely necessary. When you have a PM stating that wages have to fall and the treasurer wanting to increase tax, increase medicare, increase Uni costs and slash pensions, medicare budget and uni help the workers would just become a slave labour force to these people.
