The formation of Israel was a bad move in every way, especially for the jewish communities living in Arab countries for hundreds or thousands of years. A largely european pipedream serving the interests of european jewry as well as a "solution" to the jewish problem by the poms.

The way it was done was unbelievably badly conceived and executed as well. It shows the contempt the Arabs were held in by europeans at the time. Now there is this dirty little stain of european culture sitting
beligerently among the long term inhabitants (including the middle east jews who have been damaged most of all).

The european jews don't belong in Israel any more than Americans belong in England.
