I'm not buying into the Kabuki theory just yet. It could simply involve unintended consequences as much of US policy manifests. So, the US does a superficial hit on Iran nuke sites but that does nothing to help Israel really. And gives Iran the opportunity to escalate. Some have wondered if regime change was looking at the wrong nation.
