Vastly different technologies of drone in action. The Iranian Shahed drones are winged and more like mini UAVs, where as quadcopter drones seem to be the Ukrainian most used type.
So the Iranian ones don't have fibre spools, fly much faster. again a layered approach to defence is needed .... Kinetic kill maybe using missiles and/or shells. More in line with an EOS type solution. All the way up to the missile shield.
But you can't neglect any topology it seems - all possibilities form part of the defence
