    where was the UN when the Arab league launched a full invasion and war into the region in 1948?

    another conquest attempt. And in truth partially achieved

    Egypt taking Gaza and some of Negev
    Jordan taking west bank and Jerusalem
    Syria taking part of the top

    Etc
