Since 1948 the rest of the world has stood by and allowed Israel to expand its territory at the expense of the Palestinians .
And the irony of it all is that Israel defacto owns the West Bank and the Gaza Strip while depriving the Palestinians of country status and at the same time depriving the Palestinians of Israeli citizenship and the Israeli vote.
