Israel tries to shame the world into believing they are the victims being oppressed in the middle east. Truth is if any other Country behaved the way the Israeli Government and military do they would be pariahs convicted of war crimes against innocent civilians!

The same day, 59 or 60 Palestinians were shot dead at twelve clash points along the border fence, Hamas claimed 50 of them as its militants, and Islamic Jihad claimed 3 of the 62 killed as members of its military wing. Some 35,000 Palestinians protested that day, with thousands approaching the fence. Israel's use of deadly force was condemned on 13 June 2018 in a United Nations General Assembly resolution.
Condemnation has also been levied by human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch, B'Tselem, and Amnesty International, and by United Nations officials. Kuwait has proposed two United Nations Security Council statements, which have been blocked by the United States, calling for an investigation into Israel's killing of Palestinian protesters. The Israeli government has praised Israeli troops for protecting the border fence. Media coverage of the events, and what has been termed the "PR battle", has been the object of analysis and controversy. In late February 2019, a United Nations Human Rights Council's independent commission found that of 489 cases of Palestinian deaths or injuries analysed only two were possibly justified as responses to danger by Israeli security forces, deeming the rest illegal, and concluded with a recommendation calling on Israel to examine whether war crimes or crimes against humanity had been committed, and if so, to bring those responsible to trial."

Israel generally have things running in their favour in many ways. Trump is now well and truly in the pocket of the neocons. The closeness of his ties symbolised through his son-in-law. The ADL and AIPAC calling the shots on hate speech and through the ubiquitous label of anti-Semitism. All US politicians being strongly encouraged to support anti BDS laws to the point that states are challenging first amendment rights in pursuit of outlawing any speech critical of Israel.

We now have a western world of brain-dead people obsessing about the well-being of one country who receives more aid than many poverty-stricken countries combined, is armed to the back teeth through this US aid and is happy to drag Western countries into endless and unwinnable wars if it furthers their own aims. We are warned about Russian meddling but condemned if we ask about Israeli meddling. All of this secured in the knowledge that increasingly any question or criticism can be shutdown by describing the critic as anti-Semitic.

The crazy thing now is it is even deemed anti-Semitic to repeat things the pro Israel groups have, themselves, said about their own activities. Dangerous times like ahead.
