Amazing how selective segments of history can be forgotten and ignored.
The author hit it on the nail it was a mistake and never should have happened,but they are there now and as long as they have the US to support them thats where they will stay.I am not suggesting they should leave, but it should also be remembered that the US changes its Presidents regularly and likewise their world opinion.Todays friends are tomorrows enemies Saddam for example.
