Firstly I am a Brit. Britain was split on the future of Palestine, even down to the level of officers in the British army in Palestine. The British FO favoured the Arabs over the Jews. Now I do not condone violence of any sort. The Jewish state is a fact and unless they are pushed into the sea, they will be there for the long term. Having carved out a State for themselves, I feel they should be more sympathetic to the Palestinians desire for a better life and furthermore would be advised to - before oil becomes the over riding priority of the West.
