That question is clear evidence that you need deeper knowledge of the facts on ground before posting your half-educated nonsense.
It was up to the Palestinians and Hamas and Islamic Jihad to "reduce tensions" by not sending their people into Israel to attack innocent civilians, to knife civilians, to ram their vehicles into Israelis gathered at bus stops....I could go on, but you're stuck in your little bubble of "both sides to bad stuff" without being able to recognise that one side attacks and one side defends.
I'll repeat, by that "neutral-not-taking-a-side" stance, you're part of the problem.
