don’t suppose you’d believe an ottoman map would you. Or an excerpt from the 1911 or 1922 encyclopaedia britannica or anyone of a number of documents i could produce. The one thing the Brit’s did well if nothing else was document stuff. In detail. Much better than the ottomans who tied themselves in half baked knots because they were lazy. The Albanian who exercised control of a huge swathe of the Ottoman Empire for ten years tried to bring order but the Turks got pissed off with him btw his name was Mohamed Ali.
