The JW faith have trumped the Bushes - they predicted world endings numerous times - but since failures, they introduced 'new light' teachings to overcome failed predictions - must be to the relief of some and perhaps ire to others.
Then there was 'Nostrillados' trumping most modern doomsdayers from way back and so on and so on. One day some may look back and say - oh, finally, someone was right - now let's get on with living without fear.

For multiculturism we also need different cultures but there are always those who do not like something that someone else does - perhaps for power, lack of understanding or some irrational fear.
Then there are changes through times for what is acceptable and enjoyable - the French beheadings were public affairs - people cheered whilst heads rolled - didn't have Disney and drive-ins, so great alternative city square entertainment. The French no longer has such barbaric 'humane' method to end life but such a method apparently is still in use elsewhere. Hangings too were 'humane' public display executions as well as public displays of firing squads like in Romania in 1989.
Now with our intelligence we have other more efficient quick mass killing methods with even more people cheering on with the aid of technology - sending drones, missiles, nuclear 'deterrents' and politicians like Trump - one who may soon receive a peace prize for bombing Iran.
That's us, humans - efficiency plus with claims of higher levels of intelligence and even notions of white supremacy - then in the aftermath, we'll make movies with heroes/villains and dramatic but beautiful music with tear invoking sights and sounds with bulging box office coffers. Soon there may be a brief period of harmony in the ME - thanks to Trump. Then he may tackle the next hot spot - or perhaps add a bit more heat prior.
