So when you become “settled and rich” as a Jew, is the next thing you do is just criticize Israel and other Jews, and carry on like Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Josh Shapiro, Mark Dreyfus, Josh Burns, Ron Hoenig, Mike Freelander, and Michael Danby do on a regular basis?
Quite a way to behave? Attacks from within do nothing to quell the attacks from outside, perhaps they even condone it, which has occurred in many cases. They sometimes need to be sacked or forced to resign in order to stop their vitriol against Israel and Judaism.
Could it be they never want to go back or be forced out and these actions are preemptive to avoid a return to a place they presumably hate?
