There are multiple overlays in this space and I'm yet to come accross an open source commentator of politician with their head around it sufficiently.
My first advice to Trump would be to replace Hegseth with a 3 or 4 Star General..... and accept advice from that general.
Second the civilian piece of advice. Factor off the up-sides of the bomber strike to cement an ongoing ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
The amount of damage caused specifically by the B2s and Tomahawks is irrelevant to the "point having been made".
Third piece of advice is to short change the guy who says he will supply nukes to the Mad Mullahs anyway..... and provide Ukraine what they need to do the job.
Amongst it all there must be sufficient incentives to prevent the Mad Mullahs going dark on their weapons program in collaboration with Russia.
My expectation is that the Mad Mullahs may assemble a bomb from components thay have stored all over the place but they won't have enough to strike Israel and get away with it.
But to repeat again, we need to stop them from going dark and we need to allow a professional suck as Gen. Dan Caine to manage it all .
