he doesn’t have to see it from anyone’s perspective just as you think you don’t need to. Otherwise i suggest you learn a bit of history and try stepping into the shoes of Jews
moreover you are making excuses for Arabs in a way you have never done for Jews who lived across the Middle East and parts of Africa as well as Europe for aeons
Jews can clearly trace their lineage to the area. I can trace back to both the levant and Persia and whether you recognise it or not there remains a connection
maybe try thinking this way. A characteristic of all indigenous people is a history that connects them to country - to their land and it is woven into their sense of being, their ceremonial events, their “spiritual” and their oral history and their language is often deeply linked to that land as well
most do not question that with our own indigenous people and it is understood by indigenous Americans. These same links are woven deeply into Jewishness
there is such a thing for Persians but no such connection exists with the Arabs. Many moved in and out of the different administrative areas under both Muslim and ottoman empires
. Their connection was with Mecca which is not disputed land. It is there they travel to as a pilgrim and there they pray to. The Quran relies on the bible for much of its content - not because it wants to absorb the spirit of Jews but because it has a utilitarian purpose. Al Asqa too was an act of dominance
but I cannot see you taking your own advice and exercising a broader empathy to those for whom you clearly have no time
