Iran did not start this war. Israel did, by attacking Iranian military in Syria and destroying an Iranian consulate in Damascus. Which is an aggressive act of war.

Iran has the largest jewish population outside Israel. Including representatives in Iranian government. The jewish community in Iran maintains multiple Synagogues, jewish schools, kosher facilities. Jewish leaders in Iran issued statements condemning Israel's aggression against Iran.
