Israel - Iran War, page-537

USA is the largest destabilizing factor in the Middle East. Targeting Iran for decades (same as Ukraine).

I don't think Putin had US in mind when he planned the invasion of Crimea.

There was no "invasion of Crimea". Russian troops were present in Crimea as a part of a Russia-Ukraine agreement, allowing Russian troops (up to 20,000 I believe) to be stationed in Crimea.

What was the "invasion of Crimea" (aka "a bloodless take-over of Crimea) triggered by?
Mass protests. Directly supported by US politicians.
US involvement in Ukraine goes back decades. Would you like to talk about USAID at all?

    Ukraine was a particular target.
Ukrainian SSR was one of USSR's main founding states just so you know.

so the eastern Ukraine "nationalists" were deliberately activated and supported by Putin's regimeI think you've mixed the terms up.
Surely you meant "separatists"? Majority of Ukrainian "nationalists" came out of Western regions of Ukraine.

Putin had largely controlled the Ukrainian govt via the proxies from eastern UkraineThere is no definitive evidence to support your claim. If you have, please present it with links to sources

Putin is on record as saying he wants to regain all former USSR states..... maybe even right up to and including East Germany, Plant and the Slavic/Baltic states. This is a lie. There is no definitive, verifiable statement from Vladimir Putin explicitly declaring an intention to regain all former USSR states, let alone extending to East Germany, Poland, or other Slavic/Baltic states outside the Soviet Union’s former borders. But I encourage you to prove me wrong and provide links to sources that have that alleged statement "on record" as you say.
