Yes Lappy but my point is that this is extremely futile being played out at this point. If Bibi, the IDF and Israel really thought their survival was in the line at this point, what the hell have they been doing for 2.5 years? Why now?
Iran has lost its proxies or the proxies’ command structure but one could assume they’ll muster the resources to fight back with or without Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi rebels, and whoever else they cooperate to help them?
Israel cannot really strategically do much if it now retains its present position.
So if its survival was truly in jeopardy, Iran will militarily strike at Israel with everything it has got.
I do not see how Iran and Israel stop now that this has started.
If one of them stops, they lose, and arguably both of them are now threatening their own survival by continuing.
I always thought that when the Iranians lost the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, that was it for the Middle East.
Israel and Iran have been failed states ever since and now with all the immigration everywhere, all this hostility could boil over into Jewish and Islamic reprisal attacks, and that does no religion any good.
Just look at Roman Catholicism and what happened to it after the Crusades and Hinduism post the current Modi regime.
War is never a good sign for a religion.
Protestantism within Christianity and Buddhism have been advantaged by being relative purveyors of peace.
