The Arabs rejected the partition plan so it was all one State but the surrounding Arab nations invaded as soon as Israel declared it's independence and grabbed the West Bank (Jordan itself a new nation created under the mandate for Arabs only) and Gaza (Egypt)!
And Myanmar used to be called Burma. Are you upset they changed the name to Israel?
