Hello. Before this week, most people would not have even heard of the Druze. Western people generally do not understand the Middle-East, due to constant propaganda. The Middle East is where different people, cultures & religions lived together for centuries. The Druze were one of these people; who have a pseudo mystical 'Islamic' religion; not officially considered as Islamic by Islam. This shows how tolerant & pluralistic the Middle East was. What wrecked the Middle-East was two British WW1 creations: Saudi Arabia and Israel. Israel constantly says its shares Western values. This is accurate and shows they are not really part of the traditional Middle-East.
