"a peaceful protest" NO - there were often very violent protests every Friday for about a year and half - often 30-50,000 people towards the border fence - many trying to breach, many hurling Molotov cocktails, explosives, carrying guns and sending live fire weapons and IED's over the border, behaving like wild, violent behemoths - that together with hundreds of rockets being fired into Israeli civilian centers - no one in their right mind, would refer to as "a peaceful protest".
