well I think it’s interesting that despite the two sides making an agreement over the West Bank the un thinks its perception of the issue overrides the parties to the conflict.
I also think it interesting that Israel is regarded as occupying Gaza when it departed and in 2005 and any control over Gaza is about protecting Israel and Israelis from marauding murderous Gazans. Immediately after vacating Gaza City including all their dead, Israel continued to allow Gazans in to work. That stopped after it was found you couldn’t trust them not to come in an blow themselves up along with a few Israelis
interesting too that Egypt has multiple layers of barrier between them and Gaza but they haven’t been included in this condemnation
of course the UN never saw fit to raise such a statement against either Jordan or Egypt when they occupied so called Palestinian land.
the UN has an obsessive interest in passing resolutions designed to hobble Israel and interfere in any possibility of peace
my views are not from a legal perspective but I have seen legal argument as well
these charming declarations come from an organisation that fosters liars, jihadists and dissemblers. Since they have shown themselves to be incapable of neutrality and simply provide a forum for overpaid wankers yo think they are frightfully important I see no reason why one should place any weight on their opinions
