Israel’s genocide doesn’t stop; the numbers are horrific but they are not mere numbers
With the world ‘mainstream’ media’s eyes diverted to Iran – and never too interested in reporting Israel’s crimes in Gaza anyway – Israel has continued to accelerate its slaughter and starvation of the Palestinian people of Gaza. Hundreds have been murdered in just the last couple of days, bombed and shot – many of them as they tried desperately to get food for themselves and their families.
The ‘mainstream’ media gives the names of Israelis killed and treats the Palestinians as an amorphous, less significant mass, but their humanity matters. Below are some of their names and stories – along with a few people who survived against the odds.

3yo Hassan weighed half of his proper body weight. Like many other children, Hassan died yesterday because of Israel’s starvation blockade on Gaza and its refusal to allow formula into Gaza.
