Not totally sure on the technicalities, but it may not be considered genocide in those places because they are natives involved in a civil war.
Whereas Israel is a colonising occupying force trying to wipe out indigenous peoples.

or it may just be that a lot of western countries have been fed hasbara for generations by the mainstream media
