A lot of land gets "stolen" in wars. And a lot of harsh things are also said during war. Surprise, surprise enemies usually hate each other.
And as has been shown on these threads repeatedly there are many Arabs in Israel today who say their ancestors have told them the Israeli army didn't make them leave it was the surrounding Arab leaders, prior to their attack on Israel, who told them to leave and who promised their return.
The Arabs that didn't leave and who didn't fight the Israelis continue to live, or their descendants do, in Israel today.
