The fact that his Muslim community warned the police that this deranged youth was out and about to cause harm is most noble.
However, as his intent to harm anyone is fully understood by anyone who can put 2 + 2 together, which of course excludes you.

And being a Kaffir (non follower of Islam) they are targets for any Muslim who has a bee in his bonnet.
You see, they are indoctrinated from childhood about the concept of being martyrs if they themselves get rid of a Kaffir ostensibly to be met by 72 vestal virgins. It doesnt take much for a young Muslim who has any hangups or delusions or other issues to take this avenue as a free pass to all the sexual goodies waiting for them.
Sure, Jihadists prefer Jews, but then a Kaffir is a Kaffir and there's plenty of them around ....no need to exert themselves looking for a Jew here or there.
