Doesn't really matter what you or I say. After the defeat of the Ottoman empire in WW1 the whole area became part of one big mandate.
Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq were all part of the original mandated area and created prior to the creation of Israel which had been promised to the Jews by the British.
As you would have seen in the video I posted, as was normal during wars, the Allies didn't even have to give the land to the Arabs or the Jews they could have kept it for themselves, but times were changing.
The fact is the Arabs kicked up a stink about that last bit going to the Jews cos they wanted it all, as a part of the already created Jordan or Egypt.
They didn't want Jews to have their own State, be in control of their own lives, especially on land that a muslim Arab had at some time put their foot on, besides it's becoming obvious that their national pastime is to hate Jews whom they loved to subjugate, tax, enslave and murder.
