I think it is obvious that this is an excuse, some of the atrocities just simply did not happen. These people have an 80 year history of telling us the minutest details of the horrors they befell, now suddenly we can't examine what happened on October 7th; essentially they are saying "it was so bad, trust us, we now need to go and attack up to 2 million innocent civilians". Rubbish!
