Nothing new to me. It's common knowledge Arafat created the Palestinian Arab identity in 1960's it's also common knowledge that Jordan was separated off for the Arabs, no Jews, and the rest, Palestine, had long been promised to the Jews, I said exactly this in some of my very first posts last year but because of all the violence the British decided to carve that up too between the remaining Arabs and Jews! The Jews reluctantly accepted the new partition plan, because they wanted to get on with life, but the Arab leaders from the surrounding countries didn't!
