I dont think these wars can be stopped. The leaders have too much incentive to keep fighting.

The risk and drama keeps US funding coming in and Netanyahu in power.

The gaza civilian deaths keep the hamas leaders in power and the iranian funding and weapons.

The US and Iran military establishment like to have a remote proxy front line to compare and fine tune their weapon capability.

When theyve learnt enough about their current weapons the fighting will die down.
