Always a question in response to a question. Let's stick with the content of the Balfour declaration which makes particular reference to Palestine.
The Rothschild family takes credit for it, in fact, they referred to it as a document that "helped pave the way for the creation of Israel". So in a way you've inverted the message contained within the Balfour declaration from one of it being the creation of Israel within Palestine to an argument that suggests Palestine was never there and it was always about Jewish land and nothing else counted. Quite a trick!
