Maybe there is a special Hamas inside the broader Hamas movement.

I doubt that the broader Hamas anticipated the scale of civilian murder.

My expectation would be that Special Hamas takes its orders from Khamenei's people and has coordinated with Wagner .... which is now under Putin's control.

Khamenei needs Bibi to react haphazardly and to cause as much civilian suffering as possible. Khamenei's actions suggest he wants to draw the US in. Within such a plan ordinary Palestinians are just meat.
