Was wondering how is it that pallies living in their own places like the WB and GS... are still referred to as refugees

And how come of ALL the refugee groups ever managed by the UN ...EVER...the Pallies are the only ones who's refugee status is intergenerational? Hence the 300-700k in '48 now becomes 7 - 8 million. Why out of all the refugee groups ever have they been singled out for such status
