I doubt there'd be any prosperity and peace in Israel's plans. Just look at the west bank, where there is virtually zero Hamas, but illegal detaining of kids. Murder of kids and civillians by the IDF. Illegal settlements. I'd say more likely is that Israel wants to force Gazan citizens in to Egypt. The world has had their eyes open to Israel's appalling human rights record recently. I guess thats part of the MO of the freedom fighters.
