@albalad; ever since John Howard became PM our governments have poured $Hundreds of $Billions of taxpayers' money into elitist 'private schools' - SEGREGATING kids from each other and fostering the rise of toxic ethnic enclaves.

This was the reverse of the 'melting pot' our governments created after WW2 and the massive influx of peoples from wartorn Europe and the Middle East - a process that enhanced social interaction, cultural understanding and unity.

Due to the policy of segregating kids out into taxpayer-funded elitist ethnic schools Australia is increasingly a country divided. It's one in which we now see entrenched perceptions of 'entitlement to be protected' and 'censorship of free speech' except for those practising religious beliefs - they're empowered to breed and spew hatred at whoever they wish to and have the backing of our courts to that end.
