It is actually a non-event.
It is currently being politically swallowed up into the Russo-Chinese colossus ...via the SCO - Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
Even its Shiite Hezbollah is hated by the Sunni militias ...and is ineffectual.
The Sunni moslems being 90% more pre-dominant than their hated Shia brothers are a bigger concern for the stability of world peace.
