I suppose my bias is that Israel be a country like Australia. i.e. Liberal, democratic etc because when you look at Israel we see a state that is classified clearly in ethnic terms as a state for Jews only. Any other citizens are subjected to all forms of political, economic, educational and social discrimination. We are referring here to over 20% of the population who are non Jews.

You're one to talk........Let's face it.......we were once the 20% here in Australia.....and what did we do with our 80% indiginous folk? Reduced them to almost nothing percent.
And the so called 20% non Jewish Israeli citizens are infinately better off than all the aborinines in Australia put together.
Plus your statistics are misleading........Non jewish immigrants are entitled to all the benefits of Jewish immigrants ans as to the second class nature of the Israeli Arabs.....who proportionally contribute f**k-all to the Israeli ecomomy, yet receive all the benefits, social secuirty, medicine etc etc ....despite their fraterization with the enemy......must make up their minds.....Are they going to be loyal citizens of Israel....as their passports indicate they are Israeli....or are they going to be a fifth column.
If they act as a fifth comlumn.....then second rate citizens they will remain.
And whilst they remain second class citizens they are entitled to vote.....have representation in Parliament...the Knesset.....can travel freely anywhere in Israel, usually on their way to a Jewish funded dole office......or to guide a suicide bomber on a msssion of death in some instances.
That's an infinately better life style than any of their Arab cousins in the rest of the undemocratic perverted Arab Middle East.....
And when are you going to give back your stolen quarter acre block or whatever it is that you or your ancestors stole from the Aborigines?
