The music festival where they slaughtered victims was on land in Israel, which the UN determined was Israel in 1948, before that it belogned to the British, before thatthe Ottomons and before that there were various rules going back to the Kingdom of David.

They attacked in the most brutal of ways. They continue to hold hostages for Sinwar's personal protection.
