Yes they do have a right to exist, and just as you support Putin's claim that he had the right to defend Russia against his spurious claim that Russia was threatened by Ukraine, Israel IS in fact under a real threat from weapons from Syria to Hezbullah....which, as you know, has - and does - threaten Israel.
