yak, citizenship is about an emotional state, not some position that can be measured objectively. An exception perhaps could be that English couple in Brisbane who were being denied permanent residency and forced to return to the UK because the turnover of their business venture only met the minimum requirement of $200,000 if GST was included in the total. Minus GST it did not meet the minimum and they were being forced to sell up and return to the UK unless someone can bend the rules.
