No matter what Israel does, Islam calls for their destruction. If Israel does nothing the Imams preach that it is your religious obligation to kill the Jew. When Israel fights back the Imams preach that it is your sacred obligation to kill the oppressive colonialists.

The only thing that changes is the name given to the target (both really mean Jew)

And for the record, its not little kids throwing pebbles underarm, its rocks in slingshots, which travel 100s (yes HUNDREDS) of meters, and will kill you if you are hit.

I lived in Jerusalem during the outbreak of the intifada in 2000. the cleaning help (happened to be an Arab) got hit by a rock coming over a wall and was killed.

It all boils down to one thing.

When the Arabs (there is no such thing as a Palestinian) value their own lives more than they value killing a Jew, then we will have peace in the middle east.
