Yes, thanks for that. I only got it second hand. But from numerous Middle-East expat who wound up in Saudi, shortly before or after Khomeini stuffed the place. I have seen the photos too and heard their stories....it was a great place. The people were much freer than they are today. Islam was put in a firm political box, but practised freely. Without exception, every single western expat that I knew - who lived and worked under the Shah. Loved it.
I think that says a lot. Since zero loved Saudi Arabia....LOL....
