European Jews for a Just Peace, EJJP

European Jews for a Just Peace, EJJP, is a federation of Jewish groups from different European countries.
These groups favour a peace between Israel and Palestina based on the following principles:
- the occupation and colonization of the territories conquered by Israel in 1967 feed the violence which afflicts the Middle East today;
- peace can only be based on the mutual and unconditional recognition of the right of two states to exist side by side, the state of Israel as it has been recognised by the international community within its pre 5th June 1967 frontiers and a sovereign and viable Palestian state, with Jerusalem as their common capital;
- resolution of the problem of the Palestinian refugees on the basis of justice, fairness and practicality.
