Chronicle of events for September 5-6, 2024
In the north of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces carried out another series of strikes on the capital of the Palestinian enclave and its satellite cities: damage was recorded in the vicinity of medical facilities, several houses were destroyed.
In the south of the enclave, the Israeli operation in Rafah continues: the city is under constant shelling, and on the border with Egypt, the so-called "terraforming of the area" is being carried out to complete the creation of a buffer zone.
On the West Bank, the operation of the Israeli security forces under the name "Summer Camps" has been going on for the tenth day: over 200 people have been detained, and significant destruction has been recorded in Jenin and Tulkarm.
The situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border remains stably tense: the parties regularly exchange threats and strikes, which so far do not lead to a serious escalation.
