A year in which they were let down by those near and far.
A year in which Gaza became like a ghost town.
A year in which Gaza lost more than 50,000 of its children .
A year in which about 100,000 were injured and found no one to treat them.
A year in which about 2 million of its people were displaced and could not even find tents to cover them from the cold and heat.
A year in which schools lost their students and students lost a year of their lives
. A year in which those outside looked at the people of Gaza and called for more death.
A year in which Gaza fought all the countries of the West, most importantly America and the occupation army, and it is still fighting and defending itself.
A year in which people screamed until they lost their voices and began to die in eerie silence.
A year in which the children of Gaza died of hunger and the injured died from lack of medicine.
A year in which Gaza saw no one beside it except the support fronts in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq.
A year in which Gaza watered all the land of Palestine with its blood until Gaza became unable to know the number of its martyred sons.
