Well, this is not just 'someone'.
This is a 54 years old Israeli, born and bread, a lawyer and Master's in political science ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilad_Erdan ) who must have heard countless of times 'veezel' not 'weezel' as in a 'weasel'.
I could understand if he was German as there is no 'wee' in German language and it can be oftentimes hard for native Germans to learn 'wee'. But he is not a German.
So, is it just one of those trivial and unimportant things or, is there more to it?
