The truth is, Netanyahu does not want peace with the Palestinian.
He supported and sponsored Hamas to the due of $30M Cash per month, to wreck the Two-State Solution. He even sent his Minister and Generals to Qatar to BEG for more money for Hamas.
This was always the agenda of Netanyahu and his supporters.
Even just last week, his Gov seized more land from the Palestinian on the West Bank.

Palestinians and the UN have criticised what an anti-settlement watchdog says is Israel's largest seizure of land in the occupied West Bank in more than three decades.
About 12.7 sq km (4.9 sq miles) of the Jordan Valley was declared “state property” in June, denying Palestinians there private ownership and usage rights, according to the Peace Now group.
The declaration also created “territorial continuity” between Israeli settlements in a key corridor bordering Jordan, the group said.
A Palestinian official said the seizure was designed to dispossess Palestinians, while the UN criticised it as “a step in the wrong direction” for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Further, most countries around the world are against what the Netanyahu Gov is doing. Without the US pressure, there would have been overwhelming support, around the world, for the Palestinian cause (Not Hamas cause).
Even the Jewish Council of Australia, have advocated sanctions to be imposed against Israel.
The world want to see a Two-State Solution to the Israel/Palestinian crisis. It is Netanyahu who is the obstacle to peace.
He simply wants to drive them out and never to return to their home again.
