Israel invoked their "Hanabal directive" on Oct 7 which led to tanks firing shells into Israeli homes killing all inside and Israeli helicopters shooting hellfire missiles into their own military facilities and civilian cars, again killing everyone in its path. So although Hamas resistance fighters did kill some Israeli civilians along with many Israeli soldiers, the Israeli military killed many of their own citizens along with Hamas fighters and have since lied to cover up their murderous incompetence.
